Update 7-8-20

Dear M100 Family,

Just got an update from UIL yesterday regarding summer practices PRIOR to August 1st, 2020.

They are in line with the protocols I shared with you in my last video update (this last Sunday) with this new addition:

Face Coverings -- Executive Order GA-29

All employees, parents, visitors and students ten years of age or older must wear face coverings or face shields upon entry to an area where UIL activities are being conducted and when not actively practicing or exercising, unless an exception applies, as outlined in the full document.  (the full document is on the UIL website).

If your child will be attending summer practices prior to August 1st, please make preparations for them to wear a face covering to practice.  I am working on acquiring some face coverings (neck wrap-type) for the band and for students who may not have one or forget one.  I will update you when we receive those.

I will let you know if I receive any new information for July, August, and beyond.
